Responsibilities of the Business Analyst This role will work with Research Scientists in Preclinical Manufacturing and Process Development (PMPD) Act as a liaison between the scientists and technical teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that address critical business needs This role interfaces between Scientists, Research Systems Analysts, Programmers, Data Architects, Data Scientists, and IT Project Managers to facilitate the elicitation of requirements, building the right technical solutions, and to achieve the desired objective This position requires a passion for science and drug discovery, knowledge of business process analysis, and a desire for innovation and continuous improvement Requirements of the Business Analyst Must have 5
years' experience in a research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or scientific laboratory environment Minimum educational requirements:
Master's degree in healthcare related field Skilled in performing business analysis, elicit requirements and identify valid improvement opportunities Experience with molecular biology laboratory techniques and bioinformatics methods Knowledge in understanding end-user needs and user experience in a science-based research environment Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) required Experience with ELN, Spotfire, RStudio, Rshiny, Maplab and Jump all nice to have Benefits of the Business Analyst Hybrid role - onsite work in Tarrytown, NY three days per week Long term Contract Pay rate:
