Jr IT Project Manager - Financial Services

We have a need for a Jr IT Project Manager with significant experience leading diverse IT projects including projects in the Pharmaceutical industry.
The candidate must have excellent time management skills to function in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating independent work skills, strong work ethic, and a passion for helping to fuel the G&A (General & Administrative) IT space pipeline which includes HR, finance, and sourcing groups.
The Project Manager will be responsible for project activities from ideation through transition to the run team.
This role will be part of our portfolio management team to deliver value for Sr Leadership (stakeholders).
Responsibilities:
Applies functional knowledge of IT Business Management areas of asset management and/or business operations to contribute to and support IT initiatives and processes under supervision.
Executes tasks in compliance with the existing processes.
Measures and provides reports on IT Business Management progress to procurement, vendor management, project managers, and/or operations teams as necessary Drive project and program:
Schedule, Scope, Budget, Quality and Benefits Lead team through company SDLC gates and process adoption (change management) Ability to define the project objectives clearly and rally a team around the value delivery plan Laser focus on what needs to be completed when to keep on track Looking ahead anticipating risks before they are issues Using experience to filter the noise and identify the backbone of what is needed for success Responsible for activities of a highly complex nature, which may include small projects involving multiple project workstreams, and act as a single point of contact for those activities Actively manage small-scale projects directly with varying degrees of complexity.
Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solution of problems.
Communicate with stakeholders on an ongoing basis; estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals; draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary; manage multiple projects as necessary Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; track project milestones and deliverables; develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations Experience as the go-to-person and single point of contact for a specific process, product, function or system Coordinate with IT and department managers to assess and track plans, status, etc.
for on-time delivery of critical projects and programs; this includes assisting teams and the project teams in removing impediments and resolving cross-team issues Requirements:
Experience in pharmaceutical implementing IT systems Comfortable working in a HR, finance, sourcing environment where unknowns and change are a given constant Ability to communicate with users who may have little or no exposure to Project Management or the SDLC Comfortable working on a mix of projects of various size and complexity simultaneously Break activities down into manageable actions and set defined timelines Highly collaborative and enjoys working with others to achieve common goals High learning intelligence the ability to learn quickly and efficiently Bachelor's Degree.

years' experience as a Project Manager Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, subject matter experts, internal/external customers and peers Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple activities simultaneously prioritizing multiple activities and adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
