Summary:
The Manager Alliance Management is the primary contact for assigned external alliance and licensing collaborations,and is responsible for managing effective relationships with partners. This individual oversees the day-to-day operations ensuring the needs of both internal and external stakeholders are represented and addressed. The Manager Alliance Management is responsible for identifying and analyzing strategic business matters relating to product development and commercialization, and strategizing, developing and proposing solutions to senior management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Builds trust and maintains open and honest relationships through clear communication, alignment of goals and mutually acceptable solutions for the assigned relationships.
Facilitates the clear communication and resolution of ongoing business issues relating to Acordas partner companies.
Arranges meetings as required with partners to facilitate the exchange of information.
Coordinates and prepares agendas, minutes and action item lists for governance meetings.
Acts as a liaison with internal departments to achieve alignment concerning alliance related issues and to identify strategic business issues that may arise during a products commercial life.
Serves as an internal resource relating to assigned alliance and licensing agreements and their underlying deal structures.
Ensures company compliance with contractual obligations by monitoring status and achievements of such obligations.
May assist in contract negotiation.
Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelors degree in related field required.
Masters degree in related field preferred.
Minimum of three to five years of related biopharmaceutical or medical device industry experience required.
Experience managing relationships, projects or alliances with partners, vendors and/or suppliers required.
International business experience preferred
Qualifications:
Must understand the business, commercial and scientific issues involved in making strategic decisions in the industry.
Should be comfortable reading and understanding licensing contracts, analyzing market trends, modeling potential business solutions, interpreting market research, and reviewing technical data.
Computer Skills:
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
CA-AM or CSAP preferred
Other Skills and Abilities:
Must demonstrate a keen attention to detail and timelines.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage both day-to-day operations as well as project work in a fast paced environment.
Proven ability to drive tasks until objectives and tasks are met.
Demonstrated ability to develop strong client relationships.
Must be flexible and able to cope with constantly changing priorities.
Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting.
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
Must be able to lead, coach and mentor cross-functional and cross-organizational teams and understand the impact various cultures may have on the teams.
This position requires travel (both domestic and international); average travel for this position is 15-20% with some variation based upon time of the year and demands of business imperatives. Travel is for conferences and for meetings with partner companies.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
