Summary:
We are looking for an Automation Associate to fill a position in Automation Technologies group located in Tarrytown NY. Successful candidate will be well versed in latest automation technologies for laboratory automation, have hands on aptitude and be willing to work in fast paeed team oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Work with scientists to develop novel approaches through process automation
Research latest technologies and build relationships with vendors to find best appropriate solution
Program and validate processes on various automation platforms
Work within a team to build and integrate systems across the company
Train users to operate new equipment and extend an ongoing support
Maintain and troubleshoot automation equipment
Document experiments, results and findings in laboratory notebook; present work at the group and department meetings; participates in the writing of technical reports, SOPs, and analytical method protocols etc.
Provide data in a quality presentation form (graphs, figures, tables, etc.)
Experience and Required Skills:
Requirements:
We are looking for BS degree holder 1-3 years of relavant experience with writing codes and programming on Hamilton and Beckman Coulter liquid handler robotics platforms as well as other lab automation devices is desired. Candidate must be a good team player. Ability to present and defend ideas to senior managers. Being able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Hands-on experiences and trouble-shooting proficiency on lab liquid handler equipment.
This position will require the individual to pass a physical before beginning employment.
