Director, Facilities Project Management

Summary:
Leads the Facilities Project Management Office and supervised staff managing and coordinating multiple, complex construction, renovation, and other projects to ensure successful completion. Strategically develops PMO team in terms of personnel and process. Monitors projects to ensure that project goals, including scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk are met. Fosters a productive team environment while driving projects to successful completion.
Responsibilities:
-Leads Facilities Project Management Office that manages multiple, complex projects. Develops standard project processes, controls, and templates to be applied to all projects.
Identifies areas for process improvement, and develop and implements solutions. Monitors project plans to ensure deliverables are met and projects are completed successfully. Liaises with functions responsible for projects and provides guidance on resolving challenges. -Establishes project budgets, cash flow analyses, and cost estimates. Reviews and approves project change orders. Obtains project approvals. Develops cost reduction strategies during design and construction without compromising design and functional requirements. Performs financial analysis of projects and "what-if" scenarios and prepares management reports. Analyzes costs and ROI for construction and other projects. Develops departmental capital budgets for projects. -Monitors project schedules to ensure that project objectives with regard to time are met. Identifies and resolves resource conflicts for both external vendors and internal personnel assigned to multiple projects to ensure that business priorities are aligned.
Requirements:
12-15 years experience in project management/construction management
-Strong leadership skills including meeting facilitation, cross-functional team integration, strategic thinking, and coaching, as well as the ability to drive process improvement and growth of the project management 1unction. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels both within and outside the company in order to establish credibility with professionals on the project teams. Requires strong presentation skills. Must be proficient in advanced techniques with relevant software. Must have proven track record and ability to creatively resolve issues as they arise.
.-Strong people management skills, including resourcing, staff organization, people development, mentoring, and recruitment. -High proficiency with general Microsoft applications, including MS Project, and SharePoint. Must have experience with project management applications. -Architectural or Engineering background preferred.
This position will require the individual to pass a physical before beginning employment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
