The Senior Information Security Engineer will be responsible for engineering security solutions and ensuring that information security requirements are embedded in the efforts of others. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of network security technologies, standard operating systems (client and server), Active Directory & Group Policy Objects, Forensic analysis, and vulnerability management tools.

Responsibilities
Build solutions (tools & processes) that help ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client's information assets.
Must have a solid understanding of Cloud Security
Ensure the appropriate security requirements are part of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and that they are met.
Advise peers and partners as to good security practice and ensure embedded requirements are communicated and met
Advise the Senior Manager, Information Security team members about emerging threats, evaluating and recommending tactical workarounds as well as long-term strategies
Ensure compliance to standards, policies, and procedures

The candidate must have practical problem solving and solid trouble shooting skills with a working knowledge of design, implementation, and maintenance of:
Network design and architecture
Active Directory
Vulnerability Scanning
Encryption
IDS/IPS
Web Filtering & proxy
VPN technologies
Multi-factor authentication systems
Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware detection software
In depth knowledge of vulnerability assessments, and compliancy (HIPAA, SOX, PCI)
Excellent written and verbal skills

Skills:
Interface with 3rd party partners and Client business units when needed
Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with technical staff, lines of business and senior management
Proven ability to build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in a matrixed environment, as well as external vendors and service providers, to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated
Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform in a command-and-control role under pressure, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multicultural business environment

Experience:
5-10 years of experience in system security engineering, design, maintenance and testing
A strong background in networking, proxies, Cloud Security, firewalls, VPN, security assessments, and access control
In depth technical knowledge of information processing platforms, operating systems and networks, security technology associated with networking infrastructure components, remote access products, single sign-on, firewalls, computer system architecture, data security, and auditing techniques and risk analysis principles
High levels of integrity in the conduct of personal and professional affairs

Education requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field desirable (equivalent work experience ok)
Industry recognized security-related certification, including CISSP/CISM, CEH, GISP, GSEC, SSCP, GISF, etc. preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
